Are rumors from last year being true? AC / DC ("Hells Bells") could announce a fresh album very soon. At least that's what many fans hope after a new social media post by the cult rockers from Australia.
In addition to changing their profile picture on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, the band also shared a short clip of a flickering, red lightning bolt. For many fans of the band it is clear: AC / DC will soon announce either a new tour or fresh music. However, since a tour should turn out to be difficult in the current Corona situation, it is more likely that a new album might be announced.
"You are back!"
There had already been rumors last December that AC / DC were working on new music – with former front man Brian Johnson (72), who had actually left the band in 2016 for health reasons. In the months that followed, there was speculation about a new album with Johnson. Since the band has now reported back, it should soon become clear whether there will be really fresh music.
The fans are at least excited: "This world needs rock 'n' roll more than ever before," writes one Instagram user. Another is happy: "You are back!"
