DECRYPTION – Foreign investment data is impressive in terms of the number of projects, less in terms of the amount invested.
This is an indicator that will delight Macronist circles, who have recently entered the presidential campaign. In 2021, in a context of economic rebound, 1,607 international investment projects were identified in the territory, according to data from Business France, the entity in charge of the country’s international attractiveness. This indicator had never been so high. It appears to be up 9% compared to 2019 and 32% compared to 2020, a low year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In surveys, investors say they support the president’s tax and labor law reforms.
