New season, new weapon and the return of Sanhok in PUBG 17.1

After unveiling its roadmap for 2022, The Battle Royale PUBG has announced update 17.1 which will be available on PC on April 13 and on consoles on April 21. The original Sanhok design will be back in the maps, with some changes made. If Sanhok returns to its original look, with the lobster-like Bootcamp building, the Docks, the Quarry, and the original jungle theme, several changes have been made to the design, as can be seen in the screenshots.

Among other additions, a new weapon, the ACE32, a 7.62mm weapon which complements the ARs. The new season ranked will also be launched.

Update 17.1 introduces a new Ranked Season, which means that all rewards obtained during Ranked Season 16 will automatically be added to players’ inventory at the start of Season 17. When this Season 17 is over and the server will enter maintenance, all rewards except parachute skin will be removed from inventory.

Finally, the patch adds balancing, in particular tactical equipment. The Tactical Bag will no longer be able to accommodate drones, ambulance equipment and spotter scopes.

You will find the full details on the patch note.
