SMS scam: PCR test at home
In Great Britain, a PCR test is actually partly carried out in your own four walls: the test persons are sent a test kit, take the sample with it and send it back by post. Of course, this takes a lot of time and a test device at home would be very welcome. But in Germany, too, some would like to be able to do such a test quickly and easily themselves – especially if they need it regularly. Unfortunately there is no such test! It would not be possible to evaluate such a test in a home device. Nevertheless, the criminals offer such test kits via SMS and email, as reported by Naked Security. The link behind it then leads to a typical phishing site. Don’t fall for this nasty trick and delete the SMS or email right away if you get one.
