New task – Salzburger Kicker moves to the Baltic States

Central defender Stipe Vucur had been without a club for a long time. Now the 30-year-old has found a new club. For the Salzburger it goes to the Baltic States to the Lithuanian champions.

Central defender Stipe Vucur had been without a club for more than a year. In the summer of 2021, the man from Salzburg switched to the Romanian first division club FCSB. After three games, however, it was already over – the new coach had found no use for the former Bulls academic. Now the 1.95 meter man, who played for 1. FC Kaiserslautern and Hallescher FC and played 117 games in the 2nd German Bundesliga, has found a new club. Vucur joined Lithuanian champions FK Zalgiris Vilnius. The season in the Baltics kicks off with the Supercup final on February 26, in which the current title holder will face rival Kauno Zalgiris.
