Start conversations with strangers without adding them to your contacts
It’s once again the teams of WABetaInfo who relay the following information to us: WhatsApp users can now start conversations with people who are not necessarily registered in their contact list. To do this, they just need to enter the phone number in question from the search bar. Understand by this that you will no longer need to save a number to be able to exchange with the owner of the latter.
As you can see in the screenshot above, the application will take care of performing a more global search by going beyond your contacts. With this newly deployed feature, which is available on both iOS and Android, WhatsApp wants to make it easier for its users to start conversations while improving the privacy of its application.
