This adaptation of an ultra cult video game is fast approaching, and one of its showrunners compares it to The Dark Knight trilogy.

The Fallout series is coming!

Last year, we were treated to the adaptation of The Last of Us with Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, which met with great success around the world. The year 2024 will be marked by another production which will soon see the light of day. This is the Fallout series which will be broadcast on Amazon Prime Video. A dream come true for fans of Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic franchise! Fans of this universe will therefore be able to see the heavy power armor, the anti-atomic shelters and above all, the vast lands of the devastated United States.

British actress Ella Purnell (Miss Peregrine and Peculiar Children) plays the lead role in this highly anticipated production. This series was co-directed by Wayne Yip and Jonathan Nolanthe brother of Christopher Nolan. Otherwise, it seems that this program is in good hands to deliver the best to fans around the world. Moreover, the little brother of Oppenheimer’s director recently spoke about this production, talking about the Batman films.

Jonathan Nolan compares Fallout to Batman

As the release of the Fallout series approaches, Jonathan Nolan spoke about this production. He even ventured into a most surprising comparison with Batman. The latter worked with his brother on The Dark Knight trilogy a few years ago.

Fallout, in my career, comes closest to the work we did adapting Batman, where there are so many stories in the Batman universe that there’s no canonical version and so you’re free to invent your own. Each of the Fallout games is a separate story – a different city, a separate protagonist – within the same mythology. Our series is situated in relation to games as games are situated in relation to each other. It’s a bit like we’re Fallout 5. I don’t want to sound presumptuous, but it’s just a non-interactive version of the game, right?

In other words, this series benefits from the creativity of the showrunners and screenwriters to offer players an adventure in its own right.. It is not a question of adapting a video game whose story players already know perfectly, but of introducing new content. It’s the April 12 that Fallout will see the light of day on Amazon Prime Video!
