Based on the manga series of the same name, the anime Jujutsu Kaisen is officially become the most anticipated series in history. Announced on the official X account (formerly Twitter), the news made fans react, relaunching the tireless debate of the best anime.

The Guinness World Record has just crowned the adaptation of Jujutsu Kaisen “the most anticipated animated series in the world”, taking the place then occupied by the attack of the Titans since 2020. The organization explains that it awarded this title after consulting the various data collected by the company Parrot Analytics. According to the latter, the anime takes into account an assessment of global demand 71.2 times greater than the average of other adaptations. The news of winning the award was immediately relayed by the anime’s official account.

According to Parrot Analytics, this “demand” factor is calculated based on billions of recorded data, counting for example video consumption, engagement on social networks, Internet searches, views and downloads, etc. Still according to them, Jujutsu Kaisen remains closely followed by One Piecewhose live-action Netflix series has brought a new wave of popularity.

Battle of records

But even if it surpasses its two opponents in terms of anime, as far as paper manga is concerned, the latter continue to defend themselves well. Fact, the attack of the Titans still holds the record for the largest book ever printed, with a volume measuring over 1m60, collecting the first two chapters in a…Titanesque format.
