During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, the American spoke about his feelings about the 2005 film:
Once I saw the original, I thought, “This is a good date movie.” And I thought, “Maybe I could make a good dating show out of this? A show that I could watch with my wife.”
Then, we had to seriously prepare for the role… and it was precisely on this occasion that he took the liberty of calling Brad Pitt directly.
I told him, “I just need some advice,” and he kind of dodged the subject with his natural charm at first. He said, “Oh, you’ll do great, kid.” He was very kind and this conversation was helpful.
