Nerf of Stinger and Mark 7

The main goal of this Hotfix on Fortnite is to reduce the power of two weapons that we were starting to find everywhere in our games, the SMG Stinger and the Mark 7 assault rifle. They each had the right to a nerve.

As far as the Stinger is concerned, it is a nerve that is quite substantial since all rarities have had their damage reduced by 2. This therefore means that you will have to hit a lot more balls to be able to defeat your opponent.

The Mark 7 was also entitled to a nerf of its damage. However, this nerve is less important since it is only 1 out of all its rarities. This should then balance the weapon and make it weaker while not completely burying it in the process.

Auto Shotgun Buff

In terms of shotgun, there are two schools in Fortnite, that of high damage, but low rate of fire, and that of good rate of fire, but lower damage. The automatic shotgun is part of this second category.

But for Epic Games, as it was, this Auto Shotgun wasn’t viable enough in games. It was therefore decided that its reload time would now be reduced by 1.53 seconds for all rarities.
