The Swiss missed out on a top result at the cross-country skiing World Cup in Lahti, Finland. As the best Swiss ski athlete, Anja Weber came 15th in the classic 20 km race. Nadja Kälin came in 25th place, her sister Marina Kälin was two places behind. The victory went to Finnish Krista Pärmäkoski, who won for the first time in 6 years. The German Victoria Carl came within 1.9 seconds, but couldn’t quite catch the winner. Kerttu Niskanen (FIN) completed the podium.
