In Enshrouded, you will have to search for many resources and it is not always easy to know how to recover them. This is for example the case of the viscous paste which you will need to upgrade your flame altar to level 4.
First step for the slime paste, find the apothecary and his equipment
As we just told you, if you’re going to get slime on Enshrouded, it’s probably to be able to evolve your altar of flame. More precisely, it is so that it can move to level 4 that you will need it.
The first thing to do will therefore be to go in search of the alchemist. Indeed, even if it is probably already done if you are at this level of the adventure, you will need this NPC to be able to make slime in your game.
Once you have found the alchemist, you will have to do some quests for him. Once this is done, it will ask you to go in search of one of his missing tools, his mortar. You will therefore have to start recovering it.

As you can imagine, this mortar will be essential to being able to craft viscous paste and the first step will be to transform pieces of critter into insect dust. For this, nothing very complicated, just exchange 1 piece for 1 dust.
If you don’t know where to find these pieces of beast, we simply encourage you to explore the mist. In it, you will find beetles which, once killed, will give you a piece of the creature. There are even some caves in the mist that are filled with them!
Therefore, take a look around and you will not struggle to stock up on this resource and therefore insect dust. Except that it is not yet viscous dough and for that, you will once again have to go through our friend, the alchemist.
