Summary of the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth walkthrough

Where to find the 5 life well observation sites in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth?

To start, the well of life observation site n°1 is located to the northeast of the Transmission Tower 3, in an area with a wooden gate. It is closed, but Bugenhagen will come and open it for you, and you can analyze the well of life.

After checking the well, Bugenhagen will give you the reports n°2 and n°3 which will allow you to find other observation sites. To find the well of life observation site n°2go near the ruins of the ancient capital, just west of Exploration Report 6.

Go up the stairs and you will find a group of Melankikis attacking the portal. They are susceptible to spells Windso you can get rid of it easily with a few Wind chains before checking the well.

Then you will have to go to the well of life observation site n°3which is on the other side of the gorge, and more precisely at the foot of the ruins of Investigation Report 4. When you arrive, you will come across a few Desert Sahuagin trying to destroy the portal. You can get rid of them with elemental attacks of Ice.

The third well checked, Bugenhagen will give you another report which this time will take you to the well of life observation site n°4. Note that his card is upside down, which can mislead you. You will therefore find the well directly north of the mog report and to the northeast of the Transmission tower 4.

This time, it’s a Griffin and Desert Sahuagin who attack the barrier. As explained above, the latter fear the Ice. As to Griffinit is vulnerable to Lightningand can be weakened when it generates a tornado as you attack it.

Once cleared, you can check the fourth well. After this discovery, you will only have to find the well of life observation site n°5. Again, the map is upside down, so you’ll find it south of the mog report and not to the north.

Go through the gate and approach the well. Before being able to discuss it with Bugenhagenyou will be attacked by Demonichymæramonsters similar to Mimetichymæra which can be found at Gongagaand who are weak against spells of Ice.

Once the monsters have been defeated, you will be able to ask questions to Bugenhagen on several subjects, and he will give you the Codex Arcana of Divination IV For Cait Sith, which will earn him 10 AP to spend on new skills. Your affinity with Red XIII will increase at the same time, and Bugenhagen will receive a call from a sentry who will give you your next side quest: Wandering ghosts.
