Where to meet the Lord of Stone / Minsc in BG3?
Before we look at the choices related to the Stone Lord in Baldur’s Gate 3, we still need to find him. To do this, the most effective method is to go to the bank in Lower Town with Jaheira. Once inside, talk to the NPC at reception.
Jaheira will then ask for information about the Stone Lord and, quickly, the NPC will spill the beans. If you ever manage to convince himhe may even let you pass the guards. Proceed through the bank until you arrive in front of a closed door. You must press the buttons in the following order.

- Top right
- Between
- Middle right
Continue and you will come across the Stone Lord, who is none other than Minsc. Except that the latter thinks that Jaheira is not Jaheira. Moreover, a second Jaheira quickly arrives to sow discord. For the rest of the events, you will have to go to the sewers via the location indicated on the map below.
Once there, move forward until you come across a valve-based puzzle. Activate the water level once, then a second time when “perfect water level” appears at the top of your screen. Do the same thing with the second valve, the temperature one.
You will then have a fight that begins, kill everyone except Minsc. In fact, go to the attack settings and knock him out with a non-lethal attack. If you kill him, Jaheira will simply leave your groupso be careful!
Once the fight is over, you have the choice to extend the Emperor’s protection, do so. If you have Jaheira on your team, you can convince him without a dice roll. If she’s not there, you will have to convince the Emperor via a roll. So remember to save if you absolutely want to recruit Minsc.
What happens if Jaheira is dead?
As we told you before, several elements can cause this meeting to end very badly for you! The first is if Jaheira were to die during Act 2. Not only, you could not recruit the latter into your team.
Except that on top of that, if you can meet Minsc and follow him into the sewers, it will become impossible to protect him with the Emperor. You will then have no choice but to kill him, and therefore you will not be able to bring him into your group.
Finally, as we told you before, Minsc and Jaheira have a special bond and If you ever kill him, Jaheira will automatically leave your group. and it seems that nothing can convince her to stay anyway.
