If you don’t search everywhere you go in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, there’s a good chance you’ll finish the game without ever enjoying the Yiga Poweralso called Telluric Shock. The latter, however, allows you to create a fairly powerful shock wave provided you do not have a weapon equipped, which could save you in certain specific situations. To recover the Yiga Power, however, you will first have to find the outfit of these famous bandits.
Like the vast majority of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom outfits, the Yiga outfit is divided into three parts. You will find these by rescuing a stylist held captive by the Yiga in three different locations:
- THE Yiga hideout south of Ruins of the Temple of Time (formerly the old man’s cabin in Breath of the Wild)
- THE Ancient Akkala Laboratorynortheast of eastern Akkala relay
- THE Delass Yiga Campthe level of Aulnius Plateau
Once you have collected the Yiga outfityou can finally put it on to earn a few style points… and above all to infiltrate their secret base. You will find the Yigas Lair at the end of the Caltice Valleyin the region of Gerudo Heights (see screenshot below). Inside, you will have access to several rare item shops but above all to a series ofworkouts allowing you to obtain very interesting rewards, including the famous Yiga Power.
At the top of the training room tower (at the very back of the Yigas Lair), talk to theYiga officer so that he offers you a first challenge. You will then have to beat 3 yigas in 1 minute to win the yiga fabric, and above all to unlock the second training. Do it next and eliminate this time 6 opponents in 1 minute so that the Officer gives you the Manuscript of the telluric shockwhich will allow you to use the famous power.
Note that a third round is possible in which you will have to eliminate 9 opponents in 1 minute to win the Anti-thunder mask. To help you achieve all of these challenges, we advise you to draw a arrow equipped with a smoke shroom on the left part of the room and wait for enemies to appear near you to eliminate them. Smoke Shrooms immobilize enemies for a while, so it’s much easier to hit yigas this way.
