Where is the Floating Amphitheater in TOTK?

If you know a little about the universe of The Legend of Zelda, you surely know that the Majora’s Mask is an accessory from an old episode of the series. In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdommost of the outfits from old games are found in the same place: at the heart of the terrible Depths. Obviously, Majora’s Mask is no exception, and you will therefore have to dive into these dark cellars to recover it. Indeed, contrary to what one might believe, theFloating amphitheater does not float in the air but in a small lake of the Deep. Luckily, you can access it quite easily since it is located just below the Ruins of the amphitheatersouthwest of the Hyrule Plain Tour.

To easily find theFloating amphitheaterwe therefore advise you to descend into the depths from the‘Northern Abyss of the Preludeand head west to the Emu Tut Root. From there, continue northeast to find the entrance to the‘Floating amphitheater. For further details, we refer you to the screenshots above. Obviously, as every time you go to the Depths, you will have to bring with you something light the way if you don’t want to walk in the miasmas and lose all your hearts, which may well be precious to recover Majora’s Mask.

Once inside theFloating amphitheateryou will quickly notice that it seems entirely empty except for one chest in the middle of the room. As the red smoke that envelops it suggests, before you can open it, you will have to complete a severe test: face no less than 5 lynels in a row. By interacting with the chest, you will immediately start the fight with a Red Lynelfollowed by Blue Lynelthen a White LynelA Silver Lynelto end with a Silver Lynel in Armor. Obviously, each of them will be boosted by the miasmas typical of the Depths. If you still have trouble dodging blows well, we advise you to prepare several Salvatis and Solaris dishes to protect you from the curse of miasma or to heal your bruised hearts.

To get by during the fight, we strongly advise you to stock up on arrows and try to find a triple notch bow. There is a very powerful one in the Cape Tubor Cavebut you can also make the eagle’s bow if you have the necessary resources by following our mission guide “The arc of the eagle of the piafs”. You will also need a packet of flower bombs and powerful blending ingredients like Gibdo ribs for example (you will find them in abundance in the Gerudo Desert).

A technique that will allow you to inflict damage while remaining relatively safe is that of bell spring. Place one on the ground, step on it, and quickly activate it to propel yourself into the air and avoid physical attacks from the Lynels. Take advantage of it to slow down time with your bow and first throw them a flower bombthen arrows amalgamated with Gibdo ribs or whatever until it’s time to return to the ground. Be careful to maintain a minimum amount of stamina before going back down so as not to find yourself unprepared, since you will have to run away quickly when you are within range of the Lynel.

Note that Lynels have a power that can make Soneau Artifacts disappear, so you will need to bring out new springs quite often during the fight. Don’t forget that the last Lynel wears armor, so you will have to prioritize the flower bombs to remove it from him before moving on. Finally, also remember that shooting an arrow at a Lynel’s face canknock out a few moments, which then allows you to climb on his back to chain together several attacks that will have no impact on the durability of your weapon. So don’t hesitate to equip your most powerful weapon to do this technique. Once the last lynel is defeated, you will finally be able to open the chest in the center of the amphitheater and obtain the Majora’s Maskwhich will allow you to no longer be spotted by enemies as long as you wear it!
