This act leaves you speechless: A father threw his child out of the house because of a dispute about his homework – in winter temperatures.
It is completely normal for parents and children to clash over schoolwork – what this father did in response, however, clearly not: In single-digit temperatures, he abandoned his child on the street in the evening. Shortly before midnight, the frozen boy was discovered sleeping on the floor by a passerby. Now the father has to answer in court for that day.
Child abandonment is only part of the abuse
The boy is now living with his mother again – and says in court that his father also regularly beat him with a belt. The father contradicts the allegations and says he assumed that his son would follow him home. He also claims to have carried out a longer search for the child on the day in question. The court has to clarify how credible that is – because on the same evening the father had 2.8 per mille according to the breath test.
