(CercleFinance.com) – On the occasion of the Bourget air show, Nexans announces the launch of a new range of high voltage cables, intended to meet the carbon neutrality obligations of the aeronautics industry by 2050.
Increasing power levels without increasing conductor diameter or weight, these new cables are designed for electric and hybrid aircraft, as well as electric vertical take-off and landing (e-VTOL) vehicles.
‘As part of the Clean Aviation program, Nexans will play a significant role in helping aircraft manufacturers achieve their fuel efficiency and emissions targets, reducing emissions by up to 90% depending on the type of airplane,” he says.
