(Boursier.com) — On the eve of National Day, Nexter, Thales and Arquus delivered the 500th Griffon from the Scorpion program to the Direction Générale de l’Armement. Nexter, Arquus and Thales presented this 500th armored multi-role vehicle (VBMR) Griffon and the 50th armored reconnaissance and combat vehicle (EBRC) Jaguar to the Directorate General of Armaments.
The three industrialists, united within the temporary grouping of companies (GME) multi-role armored vehicle (EBMR), recall keeping their contractual objectives within the framework of the EBMR market which provides for a total of 1,872 Griffons and 300 Jaguars in service.
