Patriots versus cowboys – the duel between two of the most popular NFL teams turns into a thriller. Only 20 seconds before the end the favored cowboys save themselves into overtime with a field goal. There it is then a touchdown pass from Dak Prescott to CeeDee Lamb that makes the decision for Dallas. The Cowboys are in top form with five wins and one defeat, while for the Patriots (two wins, four bankruptcies) the playoffs are moving further and further away.
Superstar Patrick Mahomes avoids another defeat with title candidate Kansas City Chiefs despite another mixed performance. At 31:13 in Washington, the quarterback throws two interceptions, but then leads his team to the third win in the sixth game.
The Pittsburgh Steelers prevail in a dramatic duel against the Seattle Seahawks only in overtime with 23:20. With a field goal from 37 yards, kicker Chris Boswell becomes the match winner for the team around quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith, who replaces injured superstar Russell Wilson, had previously lost the ball.
Arizona remains undefeated
The Arizona Cardinals around quarterback shooting star Kyler Murray remain the only undefeated team in the league after the sixth game. The Cardinals prevail against the injured Cleveland Browns with 37:14, Murray shone with four touchdown passes.
In the London game on Sunday afternoon, the Jacksonville Jaguars break their streak of 20 games with a 23:20 win over Miami. The decisive field goal falls with just one second on the clock.
