The Nashville Predators have to admit defeat to the Arizona Coyotes in the NHL. Nino Niederreiter’s Jets continue to win.

Nashville captain Roman Josi was in a great mood: The Bern native scored his 9th goal of the season against Janis Moser’s Arizona Coyotes and also had his 31st assist recorded. With his 167th goal in the Predators uniform, he is now the most dangerous defender in franchise history, ahead of Shea Weber (156).

Nevertheless, it wasn’t enough for the Predators to win: The Coyotes won 3-2 thanks to a double by Clayton Keller. Moser recorded a plus-1 balance.

Jets on course for playoffs

The Winnipeg Jets with Nino Niederreiter from Chur are currently racing towards the playoffs. The Canadians won 2-1 at the Ottawa Senators after Niederreiter prepared the opening goal and Nikolaj Ehlers scored in overtime. It was the 10th win from the last 11 games for the Jets.

Also on Sunday night:

  • New Jersey Devils (with Nico Hischier and Timo Meier, 1 assist each) – Dallas Stars 2:6.
  • Vancouver Canucks (with Pius Suter) – Toronto Maple Leafs 6:4.
