Actor sustained injuries

The 68-year-old steered his car to the right so that the drifting accident driver could not drive head-on into another car with a boat trailer. “There are a few things going through your head in such a situation. You only react automatically,” says Wilder. The driver had “slashed his car from front to back”.

After the impact, Wilder sustained cuts on his left arm through pieces of glass, which later had to be sewn. The actor also suffered bruises and a severe headache. Other people are said to have been injured according to “Bild”, the police should continue to investigate.

From January 2011 to December 2020, Wilder took on the role of ship’s doctor Dr. Wolf Sander on the ZDF “dream ship”. Since leaving, he is said to have spent a lot of time in Helena, Montana, USA.
