Two years after their engagement, Nicola Peltz Beckham, 27, and Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, 23, are finally husband and wife. Years in which not only the bridal couple had time to plan a breathtaking wedding celebration. The postponed wedding also gave the groom’s parents enough leeway to think of a spectacular gift: an electric vintage car. To be precise, a Jaguar XK140 Open two-seater from 1954. A convertible that brings back memories of the wedding of Prince Harry, 37, and Duchess Meghan, 40.

The gift was presented to the happy couple the day after the ceremony. Nicola and Brooklyn hosted a brunch for friends and family on Sunday, April 10, 2022 to bring their three-day celebration to a relaxing end. David, 46, and Victoria Beckham, 47, drove up there with the gift on four wheels. A little later, the bridal couple was spotted in the blue convertible.

Prince Harry drove his bride to the reception in an electric Jaguar
These are recordings that bear an extreme resemblance to Meghan and Harry’s wedding. Prince Harry chose a similar vehicle to pick up his bride at the royal ceremony in 2018: a 1968 Jaguar E-Type. Coincidence? Hardly likely.

After all, David and Victoria Beckham were guests at the royal wedding. Apparently, the ex-soccer player and the designer were inspired by the car of the time and saw it as a perfect gift for their eldest son. Not only the design of the two convertibles is very similar. In addition, both are electric cars.
