Curtain bangs, cat eyethick eyelashes – Nicola Peltz loves the beauty look of the 90s. So it comes as no surprise that the inspiration for her big day is a true icon of the decade: supermodel Claudia Schiffer, 51. “Nicola sent me all the cool photos of young Claudia Schiffer. Even the ones where she wears bangs. That inspired us,” explains Nicolas Hairstylist and close friend Adirbutgel versus the British Vogue.
The two opted for a half-up hairstyle that provides the perfect foundation for the dress’s long and heavy train. Her curtain bangs frame her face perfectly. “We wanted a perfect texture that gives the hair fullness and room for movement,” describes Adir. Of course, her beauty preparations didn’t just begin on the day of the wedding. Adir the bride-to-be had previously dyed light blonde strands to make the hair look even fresher.
Natural makeup on the big day
On the makeup front, Nicola Peltz went natural with makeup artist Kate Lee. “We wanted a very natural and fresh look. Barely visible, but with small details that are exciting,” explains Kate. For the natural make-up she used, among other things, the “balm Essential” by Chanel and the “Cellrejuvenating priming moisturizers‘ – fittingly from hers Mother-in-law Victoria Beckham. How convenient!
Her nails were also inspired by the famous superfashion era. So Nicola decided to French nails in a delicate rose tone.
