After octopus, shark and two cobras, Nicolas Cage now welcomes a crow to his exotic collection.

He is said to have already owned an octopus, which should inspire him for his acting. He’s also said to have brought home a shark and a crocodile. He had to sell his two cobras Moby and Sheba because of money problems. Now Nicolas Cage (58) has added another exotic animal to his collection. in one Interview with the “Los Angeles Times” the actor tells of his crow.

According to this, the crow lives in a dome-like cage on his Las Vegas estate. The animal is called Hoogan, after Odin’s raven Hugin from Norse mythology. “Crows are very intelligent,” the actor tells the newspaper. “And I like her looks, the Edgar Allan Poe aspect. I like the goth element. I’m a goth.” By the way, one of his next roles is Dracula in the horror comedy “Renfield”. Hoogan can even talk to Cage. When he leaves the room, she says “Bye”. On top of that, she insults her owner as “A***”.

Nicolas Cage also bought haunted houses and shrunken heads

In addition to exotic animals, the eccentric star also collects private islands and real estate – for example a castle in the Upper Palatinate and a haunted house in New Orleans. The latter should inspire the goth to write a horror novel. But nothing came of that.

His collection of exotic items includes a few shrunken pygmy heads. The comic fan once paid more than 2 million dollars for a booklet with Superman’s first appearance. The booklet was stolen from him. He had to give up the skull of a dinosaur. It turned out to be stolen goods.

Incidentally, Nicolas Cage also has very ordinary pets: the cats Merlin and Teegra.
