Nicolas Dupont-Aignan rebounded on a last poll carried out by OpinionWay in which 57% of the French people questioned believe that democracy works badly in their country.

At issue according to the candidate: inequalities. “There is no equal treatment in the media, no equal treatment financially. Those who are not in the system cannot borrow money,” he pointed out.

Nicolas Dupont-Aignan also denounced the inequalities in the sponsorship race. “A number of us are running to try to get 500 sponsorships on D-Day and during this time some are campaigning and have 3,000 sponsorships,” he said.

An “unfair” debate

While Emmanuel Macron is not yet an official candidate, the leader of Debout la France explained why he accused the president of “stealing the election”. “He instrumentalized the Covid crisis for months (…) And he is not a candidate while using the taxes of the French to campaign”, he thus launched, adding that at this stage “it is time, if we want to have a real election, for Mr. Macron to reveal himself”.

“There is no fairness in the debate. There is a false-true candidate who uses public money, who is not bound by any rules and who campaigns, ”insisted Nicolas Dupont-Aignan.

Nicolas Dupont-Aignan also regretted that the “media system” retains more “small sentences” rather than proposals, programs.

And to underline: “The serious politician, as I believe to be, sincere, has great difficulty in making his way in a presidential pre-campaign made only of polemics”.
