Now one could assume that Victoria found a fashion inspiration in her aunt. But recently, negative headlines have been circulating about the unstable relationship between the Spanish relatives, which could put this fashion twin moment in a different light.
According to the news portal “Monarquía Confidencial”, King Felipe is said to have set a condition for this year’s summer vacation with his family. The Spanish leader is said to have expressed to his mother the wish that his family vacation should not coincide with the stay of his nephew Felipe Juan Froilán de Todos los Santos de Marichalar y Borbón, 23, and his niece Victoria Federica de Marichalar y de Borbón on the holiday island .

Due to a handful of scandals within the family, the relationship between the royal couple and Infanta Elena, 59, and Infanta Cristina, 58, is currently not the best, it is said. The king also wants to avoid a meeting with them, claims “Monarquía Confidencial”.
