NieR Automata will soon get a highly anticipated Switch port, which will arrive more than five years after the title’s initial release. But it was not the only birthday present that was on the program, since we learned at the beginning of the year that the game was going to be entitled to its own anime adaptation. The latter has finally revealed more images and above all, a release period. Surprise, the wait will not be very long.
Studio A-1 Pictures is handling the adaptation
First of all, this animated series will be called NieR Automata Ver1.1aand will be produced by a recognized studio in the Japanese anime community, namely A-1 Pictures. We owe them in particular series like Sword Art Online, Kaguya-sama: Love is War and so many others, like the next adaptation of Solo Leveling.
The studio has already cut its teeth in video game adaptations, since it is also him who is found behind the series Persona 5: The Animation (which was not incredible, it must be admitted), or even Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV.
The cast of the game is back
Other news that will please fans, it is MONACA that we will find on the soundtrackin other words the production studio of Keiichi Okabe, the composer of the original game. Finally, as a director, there is also a guarantee of quality with the presence of Ryouji Masuyamawho worked on kill la kill, Little Witch Academia or the recent Great Pretender.
In the voice cast, we will find the original Japanese voices of the game, with Yui Ishikawa for 2B and Natsuki Hanae for 9Swhile Hiroki Yasumoto and Kaoru Akiyama will provide vocals for Pods 042 and 153. We are entitled to two first posters for the series which illustrate the two protagonists, but especially to two teasers which linger on 2B and 9S.
