“NightWash” has been considered a cult show in the German comedy landscape for many years. Now RTLzwei has grabbed hold of the format.

The cult comedy show “NightWash” has found a new home. After starting out at WDR and Erste, she moved to One, Comedy Central and Sat.1, among others. From March 28th, the popular format with stand-up comedy directly from the laundromat in Cologne- Zollstock will be shown on RTLzwei. The new episodes will be broadcast from 10:15 p.m. and feature new guests from the German stand-up comedy scene.

Who will be running the show from the end of March?

“NightWash” offers up-and-coming comedy talent the opportunity to showcase their comedic skills to a wider audience. This time they will be welcomed into the show by comedians Chris Tall (32), Atze Schröder (58), Enissa Amani (42), Markus Krebs (53) and Osan Yaran (37) at “NightWash”.

On television since 2001

“NightWash” was first launched in 2001 and takes place in a Cologne Laundromat instead. The show now has a permanent place in the German comedy world. The format was awarded, among other things, the German Comedy Prize as “Best Stand Up Show”. Well-known artists such as Felix Lobrecht (35), Tahnee (31), Olaf Schubert (56), Luke Mockridge (34) and Torsten Sträter (57) got their comedian careers rolling on the show.
