Nina Bott is in the last legs of her pregnancy and is looking forward to the birth of her fourth child. In preparation, the woman from Hamburg relies on acupuncture.

In the 38th week of pregnancy, Nina Bott, 43, begins treatment. The former GZSZ actress and presenter does not find this procedure pleasant, as she admits on the Internet – her little son Lio does not make the situation more pleasant.

Nina Bott: "I hope that we don't need the appointment next week …"

This week, the 43-year-old had an appointment with her midwife, Sandra, who regularly sets her acupuncture needles to promote childbirth. She writes about the treatment on Instagram about a photo of her large baby bump: "While the midwife is' chasing 'the acupuncture needles in' me, my almost 2-year-old son makes fun of my belly button. And since he knows that I don't like him at all because he pokes in, he does it over and over again to annoy me (don't forget: I have to keep still so that the needles sit correctly).

She also said that the needles were much more uncomfortable than the birth itself – her midwife had to laugh about this fact. "So I hope we don't need the next appointment in a week …" she adds. Will your baby really be born within the next few days? We will see!

This is how acupuncture works to promote childbirth

Pre-birth acupuncture is performed once a week. "Then various points on the calves and feet are stimulated with the spiky needles," Nina explained in an earlier Instagram story. If the 43-year-old is lucky, she may not need the next appointment at all …
