Nintendo Indie World: A presentation of the next indie games on Switch on April 17

Nintendo is being rather discreet at the start of 2024. And the fact that the Switch is getting closer and closer to its end of life is probably not for nothing. After a very lackluster Direct Partner Showcase last February, the Japanese giant does not yet seem willing to launch into a major Nintendo Direct conference. For this, we will probably have to wait until the official announcement of the Switch 2.

In the meantime, fans of indie games can console themselves with a new Nintendo Indie World Showcase. The latter will be held tomorrow, Wednesday April 17 at 4:00 p.m. and should last around twenty minutes. Enough to present the next independent games which will arrive on Switch later this year.

The previous Indie World Showcase, which took place last November, was able to please players with the announcement of the Switch port ofOuter Wilds Archeologist Edition or that of the adorable Moonstone Island. Core Keeper before also giving news, suggesting that its version 1.0 could well see the light of day in the summer of 2024.

Let’s just hope that this new conference will not amount to a portage festival. And of course, as at every conference for almost 2 years, we will all put on our little red noses waiting to perhaps finally have news of the long-awaited Hollow Knight: Silksong.
