Thanks to Nintendo Switch Online, subscribers have access to classic games. Now Nintendo is adding this highlight to the games catalog.
A rush of speed, adrenaline and a retro look await you in the new classic game that Nintendo is offering for the Switch this week. It’s F-Zero Maximum Velocity, released in 2001 for the Game Boy Advance.
The futuristic racing game will be available to all Nintendo Switch Online subscribers with an expansion pass from March 29, 2024, the publisher announces in a trailer that you can see further down in the article.
A regular Nintendo Switch Online membership is not enough to access the title. You need the subscription model with the expansion pass, which costs 40 euros as an individual membership and 70 euros as a family plan.
If you don’t want to bear the additional costs of this tariff, you can alternatively play F-Zero 99, which even offers nicer 2D graphics. Anyone with a regular Switch Online subscription can access it.
You may need to update your console before playing. Nintendo also recently released a new update for Nintendo Switch that not only improves system stability.
