Nintendo Switch Online: two excellent Game Boy Advance games soon to be added

THE Nintendo Switch Online finally gives us some news to start the year 2024, with heavy things in sight for the players. After the addition of three N64 games in early December, this time it’s the Game Boy Advance which is in the spotlight. It’s been a long time, the last title proposed dating back to October, which was none other than Kirby and the Maze of Mirrors. These are Golden Sun and its sequel Golden Sun: The Lost Age which will be arriving in the service in a few days!

These two excellent RPG of the GBA developed by Camelot will thus be offered to subscribers with NSO + Additional pack next week, Wednesday January 17. Just hearing the few extracts from Motoi Sakuraba’s soundtrack is enough to take us back many years. If you don’t know these games, here is a description for you:

Evil forces are invading the world and trying to unlock the forgotten secret of Alchemy. Now the fate of humanity hangs by a thread. Bring peace to the world with the help of your weapons, your psynergy magic, your faithful companions and creatures from the elements.

Golden Sun is an epic role-playing game with a thrilling story set in a vast world. Gather the elemental Djinn of fire, water, wind and earth and combine them in multiple ways to achieve incredible magical effects.

In this sequel to the famous Game Boy Advance RPG, Golden Sun: The Lost Age, return to the world of Weyard and discover a completely different side of the story. Accompany Felix and his team, complete missions to restore alchemy to the world, a catastrophe that the characters in the original game tried to prevent.

With a band of new adventurers, summon powerful spiritual elemental djinn. Plus, if you’ve completed Golden Sun, you can transfer your data with a password to unlock items, stats, and more!

You will notice the difference in treatment of the announcement video between the Japanese and North American branches. Also note that a third episode was released on DS, Golden Sun: Dark Dawnmuch less good than its predecessors and which left us on a cliffhanger stuck in the throats of many fans since Nintendo never allowed Camelot to make a sequel…
