(CercleFinance.com) – Renault Nissan Automotive India (RNAIPL) is celebrating its 15th anniversary. The plant was set up in the booming automobile hub of Oragadam, a suburb of Chennai.
The Chennai plant has achieved several historic milestones, including manufacturing over 2.5 million vehicles. It has made a strong contribution to the local economy with over 1.15 million vehicles exported to over 108 destinations.
The plant is also set to continue its journey by launching six new models, including two EVs, over the next few years.
