No alcohol in the game – accident series claimed six injuries in Carinthia

Three accidents kept the Carinthian emergency services in suspense on Friday. Six injured road users had to be taken to hospital.

A 31-year-old woman from Spittal in the municipality of Lurnfeld hit a standing column of vehicles. As a result of the impact, the car of a 39-year-old woman from Spittal was thrown into the oncoming traffic and hit the car of an East Tyrolean (49). A 58-year-old woman from Spittal was also injured in the accident. All four casualties had to be brought to the hospital with the ambulance. The alcohol tests carried out were negative. The vehicles were totaled.

Collided with a cyclist
At an intersection in Villach, a 78-year-old woman overlooked a cyclist from Germany. The 54-year-old fell in the collision and had to be taken to the hospital in Villach with serious injuries after initial medical treatment. Both alcohol tests were negative.

When overtaking moped rammed
On Lippitzbacher Straße – Völkermarkt district – a 42-year-old Völkermarkter wanted to overtake another vehicle on Friday – but the man overlooked a 15-year-old moped driver. The young person fell in the collision and had to be taken to the Wolfsberg hospital with injuries.
