No Man’s Sky will land its rockets on Switch sometime this summer

Winner of the GK Award for best follow-up in 2019 and 2020, No Man’s Sky never ceases to surprise us. During this last Nintendo Direct, the British studio Hello Games has indeed announced its upcoming release in a “Switch version”, including all the content of its updates which have gradually transformed this title and allowed it to catch up its launch on PC and PS4 in 2016.

Upon discovering the trailer, a question arises: No Man’s Sky will it run natively on Switch or in a version cloudsas is already the case for ambitious titles like Hitman 3 or control ? For the time being, neither Nintendo nor Hello Games has provided a clear answer, even if Sean Murray, founder of Hello Games, suggests in a press release that his title would run well natively: “There have been so many times we have gone home one day convinced it was impossible, only to see someone arrive the next day with a unique technical solution.“. The answer should be provided by the release of the title on Switch during the summer of 2022.
