A simple handle creates space for large dishes
If you have a particularly spacious dishwasher that can also accommodate large bowls and long glasses, you can consider yourself lucky. Unfortunately, not all models have enough space in the top drawer of the dishwasher.
With many dishwashers, however, you can create enough space for the long glasses with a simple movement. Very few consumers know this simple trick, with which the long-stemmed wine glasses fit comfortably in the top compartment of the dishwasher.
To do this, pull out the top compartment of the dishwasher. On the two outer sides of the basket are the rails on which the drawer is moved forwards and backwards. A plastic element is installed over the rail. When you push the switch in, the dish rack sinks one level lower.
Set the compartment lower on both sides and there is more space above the top compartment and thus enough space for particularly large dishes and tall glasses.
