No Time To Die – Land Rover is auctioning off original Bond stunt cars

In the last 007 cinema hit “No time to die”, not only James Bond was taken seriously, some Land Rover Defenders were also given nothing. Unlike Daniel Craig, however, the cars did not have stunt doubles. Some are now going under the hammer – a highlight for real (and really well-to-do) Bond fans!

The reason for the Christie’s auction in September is the 60th anniversary of the world-famous film series. Among other things, two Land Rover Defenders, a Range Rover Sport SVR and a Jaguar XF will be auctioned euros, which will benefit the British Red Cross. The robust off-road vehicle shone in “No Time to Die” with spectacular stunt scenes – it also has the unique vehicle identification number “007”. The Defender 110 up for auction is one of ten vehicles used for the latest Bond. In addition to its film appearances, the model was also used in pre-cinema promotional activities.Other stunt vehicles: Range Rover Sport and Jaguar XFA total of six Range Rover Sport SVRs played impressive roles as stunt vehicles in No Time to Die. One of these models, which featured in a high-speed chase in the hit movie, is now being auctioned at Christie’s, with experts expecting the hammer to sell for between €95,000 and €143,000 London called a Jaguar XF – with an estimated proceeds of between 59,000 and 83,000 euros. The Jaguar is one of two models featured in the opening sequence of the 007 hit: they chase James Bond (Daniel Craig) and Madeleine Swann (Léa Seydoux) through the narrow and winding streets of the World Heritage town of Matera in southern Italy. “Defender, Range Rover Sport and Jaguar XF are at the heart of the action in No Time To Die. Each vehicle up for auction is a one-of-a-kind vehicle that will make collectors’ hearts leap for joy,” said Nick Collins, executive director of vehicle programs at Jaguar Land Rover Land Rover Defender 110 V8 Bond Edition – an exclusive special edition inspired by the specifications of the Defenders used in No Time To Die and created by the specialists at Jaguar Land Rover’s SV Bespoke department. Only 300 Bond Edition vehicles came onto the market worldwide – an etched “60 Years of Bond” logo on the cover of the instrument panel makes the auction model an absolute one-off. The vehicle is road legal and has a British specification. Proceeds from this auction will go to the Tusk Animal and Conservation Foundation. The auction will take place on September 28th. The exhibits can be viewed beforehand at the London headquarters of Christie’s auction house.
