Well, already today Yes said whether you actually do no meant? Ignoring our own limits, we are masters at this. That’s why we use NO-vember to practice exactly that: setting limits.

Constantly slips in Yes out, although you actually no wanted to say? Unfortunately, this happens to us very often – both in a private and in a professional context. We constantly exceed our own limits because we don’t want to disappoint anyone, because we can still get things done quickly or because the colleague asked so nicely. And that although we actually know that we need a break, more sleep, just want to put our feet up or simply really don’t have time. The same applies to people who are not doing us well, a poisoned culture of conversation at work or among acquaintances. In NO-November we therefore call on people not to do anything that is not good for us either. To say no, to listen to our bodies and – above all – to put ourselves first.

Nope, we don’t do it anymore!

1. No to bad vibes

Der: die Kolleg: in wants to vomit from you again? Your girlfriend has been unloading her emotional chaos with you for weeks and you can no longer? In the day-care center there is a lot of blasphemy about other parents and somehow you just feel bad vibes? Then pull yourself out! Kindly point out to your fellow human beings that you don’t have time at the moment and go to the bathroom for a moment. Or explain to them why you no longer want to participate in these conversations, in a friendly but firm manner. The following applies to your girlfriend: You can also explain to her that you are always there for her, but that you want to protect yourself and that this costs you a lot of energy at the moment.

2. No to overtime

Overtime is unhealthy and shouldn’t be part of everyday job life. That is why we also say “No!” In NO-November. and close the laptop just in time for the end of the day.

3. No to constant interruptions

Are you interrupted by phone, emails or push-up notifications while working every few minutes? Give yourself uninterrupted time and turn off the phone and pop-ups. Setting time slots for certain tasks can also be a wonderful way to concentrate on your work.

4. No to energy guzzlers

Sometimes we don’t even have an idea of what is costing us energy. So let’s take the time to take a closer look at what slows us down in everyday life and sort out which of these we quickly throw out of our lives.

5. No to procrastination

Oh yes … I’ll do that tomorrow … Everyone knows about us. But somehow stresses, because it buzzes around in the back of the head all the time. No more procrastination – in November we will do things immediately. After all, it’s a great feeling to cross tasks off the to-do list and clear your head again.

6. No to Revenge Bedtime Procrastination

The same thing every evening: instead of going to bed when we’re tired, we watch another episode on Netflix or zap through the TV program. This is where good sleep is so important. Not only for our body, but above all for our head. We feel better when we sleep well. Sleep also keeps you young – after all, we regenerate during sleep.

7. No to a guilty conscience

We constantly feel guilty about things that shouldn’t be bothering us. But it’s not that easy to get rid of feelings of guilt and old patterns and act according to your own convictions without feeling bad about not meeting the expectations of others. In the long run, however, it is worthwhile for ourselves to act according to our own ideas, and that’s why we practice exactly that. Every day and beyond November.
