(CercleFinance.com) – The Canadian IT group CGI announced on Wednesday that it would deepen its strategic partnership with Nokia in order to establish joint offers in the field of private 5G mobile networks intended for industry.
In a press release, the two groups explain that they want to help industrial companies implement connected, real-time and data-driven digital solutions – known as ‘Industry 4.0’ – in order to more easily conduct their operations.
CGI and Nokia indicate that they have already completed a first project in Northern Ireland with the construction of a 5G test bed for the Smart Nano NI consortium, which aims to facilitate prototyping and ‘smart’ manufacturing.
