(CercleFinance.com) – Nokia today announced that NS Solutions has deployed a private local 5G network for the Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST) in Nara Prefecture, Japan, equipped with DAC technologies ( Digital Automation Cloud) and FWA (5G Fixed Wireless Access).
Nokia says the 5G private wireless network will enable NAIST to enhance its research capabilities, broadcast live lectures in HD, and aid research into next-generation mobile communication systems.
It will also allow NAIST to collect large amounts of data in real time and use artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to generate actionable insights.
