(CercleFinance.com) – Eivind Kallevik has been appointed president and CEO of Norwegian aluminum and renewable energy company Norsk Hydro ASA.
He succeeds Hilde Merete Aasheim, who decided to retire after five years. The appointment will take effect on May 13, 2024.
Eivind Kallevik is currently Executive Vice President and Head of Hydro’s Aluminum Metal business area, a position he has held since 2019.
From 2013 to 2019, he served as CFO at Hydro. Prior to this, Kallevik held several senior management positions at Hydro, including in the Bauxite and Alumina business area and the downstream aluminum sector.
