1. You don’t want to trade places with anyone and you know it

Nadine has the nicer legs, Christina earns more, Anna dances so enchantingly and Elena married the man who is actually much better suited to you. So what? Confident women don’t constantly compare themselves to others. They know: All in all, they would never exchange their life for any other. That’s how it is for most people. You just have to remind yourself from time to time that you are very satisfied overall.

2. You don’t even try to be “Everybody’s Darling.”

Everybody’s Darling is Everybody’s Dachshund. Old rule that has still lost none of its truth. Anyone who tries to please everyone will end up just a reflection of themselves. It’s better to leave it alone. The people who are truly popular are those who embrace their rough edges.

3. You take up space

Confident women don’t ask themselves whether they are right where they are. They take the place they deserve. You can tell by their body language: self-confident people usually gesticulate so expansively that they prefer to stay half a meter away. The room is ultimately theirs. So what?

4. You maintain your composure

Maintaining posture is not just a question of the body. Self-confident people usually straighten themselves physically, but they don’t hunch over in discussions either. And even if everyone has a different opinion. With self-confidence, your own loyalty is enough.

5. They are not chameleons

While people with low self-esteem are busy assessing the situation and adapting, self-confident people are completely themselves. They are completely themselves in every situation. If the others don’t like that, that’s their problem.

6. You don’t blame yourself for failures or shortcomings

A few kilos too much after all that vacation? Didn’t have time to put on make-up today? Unfortunately the order didn’t go to us today? Who should it bother if not us? Self-confident women can cope with defeats and flaws. After all, they belong to them. Then how could they be bad?

7. You don’t try to be perfect

Perfectionists have a hard time with themselves. Because humanity in and of itself is not exactly compatible with the claim to be perfect. Self-confident women sometimes let things go and don’t get annoyed with themselves all the time. Then they laughed really loudly tonight. Then they just had stupid hair. So what?

8. They surround themselves with people who strengthen them

Energy vampires are sorted out by confident women. Because it’s worth surrounding yourself with great people. The whole thing is a great upward spiral for which you don’t have to do much. Because it does a lot to you when you surround yourself with positive people. By the way, this often happens all by itself when you are at peace with yourself. Because like attracts like.

9. You stand up for yourself

Every woman who stands up for herself stands up for all women. Confident women do this all the time and are not ashamed of it. They know what they are worth and what they deserve. Be it at work, in a relationship or at the bakery counter. Anyone who treats self-confident women badly is encountering their inner lioness. And she has the talent. ROOOAAAAAR!
