Jonah Hill (38) will no longer promote his films in the future. The actor explained this in an open letter to several US media, like the “Rolling Stone”, exists. The reason for this is his years of struggle with anxiety and panic attacks.

His new documentary “Stutz”, which is about him and his therapist, brought him to this realization. After his therapy he is certain: he will skip press tours and public events for upcoming projects. Hill isn’t the only Hollywood star who has spoken openly about his anxiety.

Ryan Reynolds

His colleague Ryan Reynolds (45) also struggles with panic attacks. The “Deadpool” star announced this in an interview with the TV station CBS. Speaking on the show Sunday Morning, Reynolds said, “I’ve had anxiety my whole life.” It feels like his personality is split in two. This is also reflected in extreme stage fright, among other things.

Selena Gomez

Singer and actress Selena Gomez (30) has been open about her mental health for years. In 2017 she betrayed the “Vogue” in an interview: “My self-confidence was completely shot. Emma Stone (33) was in therapy for her anxiety as a child. “When I was about seven years old, I was convinced that the house was burning down. I could feel it,” said the “La La Land” star in an interview with “Rolling Stone”. Although she had no hallucinations, she had “a tightening in her chest, the feeling of not being able to breathe, as if the world was ending”. She no longer has panic attacks, but there are now and then phases in which the fear comes back.
