Book now for next year: not overpriced yet: five tips for beach holidays at stable prices
High energy and raw material costs, inflation at a record level: prices are also exploding on the travel market. But there are still holiday offers for next year that have remained relatively stable in price. Five good value tips you can still grab now.
Save, save, save is the motto for many people these days. When shopping, when going to restaurants, when driving – Germans want to save everywhere. This is shown by the 2022 wealth barometer of the German Savings Banks and Giro Association (DSGV), which was only published in October. However, there is one point where most people do not save: on vacation.
The costs for this must not have exploded, as our inquiry to the large travel booking and rating portal HolidayCheck showed. There are also package tours to popular winter escape destinations, the prices of which have remained relatively stable compared to February of this year. We present the best offers for next year.
1. Egypt: Bathing fun between desert and sea
The Egyptian seaside resort of Sharm el Sheikh, on the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula, attracts with water temperatures of up to 27 degrees and golden sandy beaches. The 5-star hotel Albatros Laguna Vista is located directly on a palm beach. The resort, built in a traditional style, has a huge pool area and is good value for money. The holiday week is all-inclusive (including flight and hotel transfer) for 705 euros – a similar price as in mid-May. 2. Dubai: In six hours to the realm of superlatives
Plenty of sun, endless sandy beaches with a bath-tub-warm sea, futuristic architecture and many unusual attractions: Dubai, the emirate with the capital of the same name, which lies in the desert and borders the Persian Gulf, is a popular destination for winter refugees. Because November to April is the best time to travel: Tue temperatures move at a pleasant 25 to 30 degrees. The sun shines eight to ten hours a day. And at night it cools down pleasantly.
Likewise, many are likely to feel the price of around 1800 euros for a week in the 5-star accommodation “Rixos The Palm Hotel & Suites” – everything included, including the flight. For comparison: The same holiday in the 316-room complex on the artificially created palm island “The Palm Jumeirah” cost 1456 euros last January.

3. Turkey: Insane offer on the west coast
Between Marmaris and Fethiye stretches one of the most beautiful and kilometer-long sandy beaches on the Turkish west coast. Here is the 4-star Robinson Club “Sarigerme Park”, a paradise for water sports enthusiasts and clay court tennis players. Guests can also play archery, soccer, beach volleyball, table tennis, and bocce ball, or get limber with aerial athletics, yoga, Pilates, stretch, and relax.
269 rooms in nine different categories are spread over a park-like complex with lots of greenery. The holiday week in the club is 239 euros more expensive than at the beginning of the year, but anyone who flies by the end of May 2023 can more than compensate for this with a TUI discount campaign. This amounts to a proud 300 euros. The bottom line is that the trip will cost even less than before the general price increases began.

It is 79 kilometers long and 38 kilometers wide: Greece’s island of the gods, Rhodes. Sun god Helios is said to have asked Zeus for the island when he divided his kingdom and named it after his beautiful wife Rhode. 5. Croatia: Island paradise in the Adriatic Sea
Croatia has more than 1000 islands, of which only about 70 are inhabited. In front of the coastal town of Split lies the bathing island of Brač, which is known for its white pebble beach called the Golden Horn. Not far away, in the fishing village of Bol, is the 4-star hotel Bretanide Sport & Wellness Resort.
Five clay tennis courts, a surfing and diving school, three pools and daily activities such as archery or beach volleyball promise sports enthusiasts plenty of exercise options. Afterwards you can relax in the wellness area.
