Nothing shakes up its range of true wireless headphones with two new models, the Ear (a) and the Ear

Nothing has just presented two new models of true wireless headphones. The first, the Nothing Ear, want to appeal to users looking for quality, while the Ear (a) is aimed at smaller budgets. Once again, it is on the design that the British brand is pulling out all the stops.

Nothing Ear (a)

Nothing has decided to overhaul its range of true wireless headphones. The brand thus presented two new products: the Nothing Earswhich succeed the Ear (2) of 2023, as well as the Ear (a)their more affordable equivalent.

Of course, it is at the design level that Nothing wants to differentiate itself from the competition. The Ear takes up the very particular look of the range, with its square case (55.5 x 55.5 x 22 mm for 52 grams) all in transparency. A transparency that is also found on the stems of the headphones. When you see them, you know straight away that it’s from the English brand!

Nothing Ear wants to offer the best

The Ear have 11mm dynamic drivers as well as a ceramic diaphragm. We note the presence of active noise reduction at 45 decibels. The new features not only concern the sound, but also the autonomy, doubled compared to the previous model. In fact, Nothing announces over 40 hours of listening time without ANC, and 24 hours with. Finally, the Nothing X application has a role to play with the appearance of a very precise equalizer that will be possible to share with the community. The Nothing Ear will be sold from April 22, 2024 at the price of 149 eurosa reasonable price for what is offered.

The Nothing Ear (a) are intended to be more affordable, but no less good for all that. To differentiate themselves, they adopt a rounded design, either white, black, or yellow (this is a first). They use the same 11 mm speakers as the Ear as well as its active noise reduction at 45 decibels. Concessions were made on the materials (the headphones are slightly heavier), on the application (no equalizer) as well as on the sound (no ceramic diaphragm). Sacrifices which allow the Ear (a) to be very affordable, since they are sold at 99 euros.
