firefox is your favorite browser? Well, know that you too can take advantage of this feature that improves the quality of your videos.

While Mozilla’s email client has just had a makeover, the foundation is visibly working to bring VSR technology to its web browser.

Video Super Resolution soon to be extended to browsers other than Chrome?

Since the beginning of February, you know that Google Chrome supports NVIDIA’s RTX Video Super Resolution technology. This allows owners of RTX 3000 and RTX 4000 graphics cards to enjoy a significant improvement in the quality of their videos (YouTube, Twitch, etc.). Shortly after, it was Microsoft’s turn to announce similar technology, powered by artificial intelligence, for its Edge browser.

If Firefox users could previously feel a little aggrieved, they can be reassured. It would indeed seem that NVIDIA technology has decided to invite itself soon on the famous browser of the Mozilla foundation.

Firefox will also improve the quality of your videos

The information comes to us from the site Wccftech and has not yet been officially confirmed. On the other hand, the Reddit account T0biasCZE recently declared having been able to test NVIDIA’s Video Super Resolution from Firefox. This will therefore allow the browser to get up to speed and catch up somewhat on its main competitors, Edge and Chrome. Remember in passing that after NVIDIA and Microsoft, Intel had also unveiled its own VSR technology for Chromium web browsers.

If you use Firefox, version 115 of the browser was rolled out a few days ago. In addition to delivering various new features, it is important to note that since this update, Firefox no longer supports Windows 7 and Windows 8.
