Nvidia has not said its last word regarding its GeForce RTX 4060 Ti. After the 8 GB version of VRAM released in May, the manufacturer is preparing the release of a 16 GB version of VRAM for July 18, several leakers reveal. Inevitably, the bill will be more salty: it will take 499 dollars to get it.
If you are one of the many gamers who have not been convinced by the RTX 4060 Ti, know that Nvidia is about to try a new approach. Indeed, according to leakers MEGAsizeGPU and hongxing2020, a new model will soon join the shelves of resellers. This will be equipped with 16 GB of VRAMagainst 8 GB for the currently available model.
However, the strategy is intriguing. According to the multiple opinions that have arisen after the launch of the graphics card, it is not its technical data sheet that its price which is evoked as the cause of this rather cold reception. As a reminder, the latter is marketed at a price of 329 €. However, as you can imagine, his sidekick should be entitled to a more advanced rate.

Inevitably, this increase in the amount of VRAM is accompanied by a higher bill. And here again, Nvidia did not do things by halves. While the US price of the RTX 4060 Ti 8GB is $399, leakers claim that its 16GB variant will cost $499 across the Atlantic, around 459 euros.
Suffice to say that this price may again cool consumers, especially if no other improvement of the technical sheet is to be expected. Will we see resellers once again lowering the price of the graphics card on their own to arouse enthusiasm? Maybe.
For comparison, the non-Ti model, which arrived on June 29, is sold at 349 euros. Time will tell if Nvidia’s strategy will be the right one, or if gamers will continue to favor more premium graphics cards – or, failing that, stick to their current model. Note that the manufacturer obviously does not plan to offer a Founder Edition model.
