A local (87) fell into an artificial pond in Obertilliach. Son (50) rushes to help immediately and begins resuscitation!
An 87-year-old fell into a pond in Obertilliach at around 3:50 p.m. on Monday. The artificially created pond was lifted to the side by her son (50) due to maintenance work. When the woman stepped onto the jetty, she and it tipped into the approx. 50 cm deep water.
Found unconscious
A little later, the son found his mother lying unconscious in the pond. He immediately pulled it out and began resuscitation. He also notified the rescue workers, who came a little later and fortunately were able to reanimate the woman. The woman was then taken to the Lienz hospital by emergency helicopter.
