Square-Enix took advantage of the Tokyo Game Show to highlight some of the titles in its catalog, with dedicated panels that allowed us to see a little more gameplay for each game. This is particularly the case for Octopath Traveler II, revealed last week via a Nintendo Direct, but which only showed a short sequence with a first trailer. We discover today much more with nearly 20 minutes of video gameplay.
Gameplay galore
The Japanese publisher devoted an entire panel to the presentation of Octopath Traveler II, and this for more than 45 minutes. The opportunity to learn much more about the game, but above all to see it in motion. You can go to the 26th minute of this video (unfortunately only translated into English) to see the game in action, and this over about twenty minutes.
We can see a lot of different sets here in order to admire the 2D-HD leg which always has its small effect, whether during a walk in town or during a fierce fight.
Octopath Traveler II will be released on February 24, 2023, on PC via Steam, Switch, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Pre-orders around the game are already open.
